NO 1 – CHINA 

China has the highest rate of internet users!

China’s internet population just passed a major milestone. According to the Chinese government, 802 million people are now actively using the internet, 57.7 percent of the population. The data was published by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) which is a branch of the country’s Ministry of Industry and Information.

NO – 2  INDIA

According to the survey taken in 2016 over 30% of peoples in india are having Internet access.
With over 460 million internet users, India is the second largest online market, ranked only behind China. By 2021, there will be about 635.8 million internet users in India. Despite the large base of internet users in India, only 26 percent of the Indian population accessed the internet in 2015. This is a significant increase in comparison to the previous years, considering the internet penetration rate in India stood at about 10 percent in 2011. Furthermore, men dominated internet usage in India with 71 percent to women’s 29 percent.


NO – 3 UNITED STATES

With nearly 290 million internet users as of 2016, the United States is one of largest online markets worldwide. About 76.2 percent of the U.S. population accessed the internet as of 2016. While internet adoption in the United States is equal amongst both genders, online usage increases among demographic groups with higher levels of education and income. The United States are also one of the highest-ranked countries in terms of internet freedom, ranking fourth in the Freedom House Index of 2017 with 21 points.
Internet users in the United States often turn to their mobile devices to access the internet. Accessing the internet is indeed the most popular smartphone activity among adult users in the country. Over 72 percent of mobile phone users accessed the internet through their mobile devices in 2017. This share is forecast to add up to 80.6 percent by 2021. As of 2017, Americans spent half of their digital media time on smartphone apps


NO – 4 BRAZIL

With nearly 140 million internet users as of 2016, Brazil is the largest internet market in Latin America and the fourth largest internet market in the world in number of internet users. Projections show internet penetration rate is forecast to grow to about 61 percent in 2021, up from about 56.8 percent in 2016. Furthermore, 90 percent of Brazilian internet users accessed the internet every day for personal reasons.
In 2016, there were 81.4 million mobile phone internet users in Brazil, which accounted for nearly 40 percent of the Brazilian population. By 2021, these figures are forecast to increase to 112.7 million and 51.8 percent respectively. Checking and sending emails is the most popular mobile activity of mobile phone owners in Brazil. The leading mobile app in the country is the instant messenger WhatsApp with a 93 percent reach. Facebook ranked second with a 79 percent reach, followed by YouTube and Instagram.


NO – 5 JAPAN

Online user data regarding Asia Pacific shows that East Asia had the highest number of internet users with Japan raking third in the region with 101 million internet users. In the second quarter of 2016, Japan recorded over 45 million unique IPv4 addresses, offering internet at an average connection speed of approximately 17.1 Megabits per second.
With close to 59 percent of the Japanese population accessing internet through mobile phone in 2016, forecasts estimate this figure will grow to 61.6 percent in 2021. The most popular app was mobile messenger LINE, one of the most popular Asia-based messenger apps worldwide. Other popular mobile apps include Twitter, Facebook and Apple Music.
